課程概述

This course serves as an introduction to research methodology with a focus on pharmacy-related issues. Students will be given knowledge of basic research concepts and study design. This course is intended to offer techniques to graduate students in clinical pharmacy to examine questions of drug utilization and to prepare their theses. 

課程目標
 To provide an overview of the research process, from problem identification and conceptualization through study design, analysis, and interpretation. 
課程要求
 The students will be able to:
(1) Describe research process, including identifying a topic, conducting literature review, defining research questions and selecting study designs
(2) Compare different study designs (cross-sectional, cohort, case-control study)
(3) Learn how to prepare a research proposal as a foundation of their thesis
